Not Breaking, but Interesting News

Yes. Absolutely. Why are we still questioning this? This was never about those of us who inhabit the social mediaverse, it has always been about the coverage provided by news / media outlets. There’s a reason I go out of my way to share world news, guys. We’re all in this mess together and this planet is far smaller than any media outlet will have you believe. I hate that the Internet is such a bad influence on everyone including A.I. What is it about the anonymity of a keyboard and screen name that brings out the hate and anger in so many of us? Maybe we should grow a pair so that steam doesn’t build up in the first place.
It is time to evolve past this part of our history and put those things where they belong, encased in glass in a museum as a reminder of the slavery and oppression that was used to drive this country’s economic independence. It’s a part of our history and we shouldn’t forget it, but we needn’t venerate a war centered around a bunch of folks who refused to give up their slaves. What we need is to accept that shit and find a way to move past it, that is, if we intend on making America great again.
