Once there are more of us women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics the need to undermine our achievements will begin to wane. Let’s get to it, ladies. Time is money and algorithms.
A 2004 law prohibits Utah’s universities from enacting policy that “in any way inhibits or restricts the possession or use of firearms.” …Even when those restrictions would have been put in place to protect innocent lives after terrorist threats had been made. Threatening the lives of innocent people with pipe bombs and mass shootings is still considered terrorism, right? It’s funny how we’re all about fighting terrorism here in America, until we actually need to do it.
Hopefully they discuss ways to better train hospitals on Ebola transmission prevention protocols. Enough of this bullshit where we blame the nurses and patients, the hospitals need to be held accountable. I’m looking at you, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.
